Update on Flood Relief Activity
Dear All,
First we want to thank you for all your support. Still we need more money. Besides that we wanted to keep you updated on our activities. In our first phase we distributed basic needs for two villages which were neglected because of their proximity to roadways. In Second phase, we distributed Schools kits to 1200 schools kids. Still there 800 to 1000 or more to be distributed. In third phase we will be helping more schools and school kids. We contacted district official including collector. We are in the process of identifying damaged schools and their needs. Once we know the real needs of these schools we will asses ourselves what we can provide them with money we have. There is an estimated loss of Rs6.6 crores alone for schools. Hence we won't be able to solve all the problems, however we are trying to raise as much as possible to help schools and school children up to maximum extent. We are also talking to other organizations here in United states to chip in some money for our activities. Please do not rest till we raise at least $100,000 USD. Please assist us in achieving this goal. We are contacting head masters of each school and compiling the data. Onc ewe are done with it we will be deciding what sort of help we will be doing to these schools and school children.
